Anna Louise has an affinity for music leadership, business, and project management. Passionate about making classical music accessible to all, she endeavors to create opportunities for the genre to thrive in the 21st century. In 2021, she founded Rochester Summer Opera with the missions to create free performance opportunities for students and provide accessible opera to the Rochester community.
Anna Louise has interned at organizations such as the Ravinia Festival, Portland Opera, and Portland Summerfest. She is a Program Assistant at The Institute of Music Leadership and a Project Coordinator for Sing for Hope. She is proud to be a part of The Plimpton Foundation as a member of the board and their Director of Operations.
During the coronavirus pandemic, Anna Louise coordinated a virtual “Lessons and Carols” concert sponsored by the Greencastle Virtual Music Festival. This concert included community members from DePauw University and Greencastle, as well as musical performers located in all areas of the United States.
Her entrance into production began when she was 16. She planned and presented “Voices Together,” a benefit concert for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation that raised over $7,000 and had 300 people in attendance.
Anna Louise is proud to be proficient in many areas of the arts and is always willing to learn more. She has learned a wide variety of skills through founding and operating her own company and her other work experience at significant arts organizations around the country.
